A Los Angeles native, Raquel Deriane fused her loves of cinema and fashion into costume design.

Her experience draping, pattern making, sewing, and tailoring came from her formative years working in UC theatrical costume shop and Elie Saab's Haute Couture atelier in Beirut, Lebanon.

While simultaneously pursuing her love of film, she graduated from USC's School of Cinematic Art.

Costume design came naturally soon after, and today she works a range of aesthetics, from period pieces to fantasy futurism.

Her knowledge of both clothing and film individually gives her a fearless creative thirst for this career.
